Ariadna holds a PhD in Holographic Superresolution Microscopy and is currently the Project Manager for the Athena SWAN Implementation at the University of Tasmania. Ariadna is working on measuring the University’s current state in terms of gender equity and diversity. Ariadna is particularly interested in mentoring at all academic levels: while barriers in pursuing a scientific career may still exist for a long time, we can empower individuals now (and particularly those that are more prone to be discriminated against) to help them overcome them.
