Karina is a highly-awarded winemaker and cidermaker, and also has one of the most brilliant science minds I have come across. Karina’s understanding of first principles and her application of these in industry is outstanding, and she is always willing to assist others to lift the Tasmanian industry as a whole. Karina asked me to co-host a Science Week event last year, but I learnt just as much from her as did the participants! Karina now also shares her knowledge starting and growing a business through her work in The Van Diemen Project
Karina Dambergs is one of my closest collaborators and we have transitioned together from sparkling wine research into cider research.
