The Car Show - Academy Gallery, Inveresk campus

In July 2018, the Academy Gallery in partnership with the University Cultural Collections presented The Car Show. This fabulous student led exhibition was officially opened by Professor Rufus Black, Vice Chancellor of the University of Tasmania. The Car show displayed how our University student researchers are working at the front line of engineering in a real-world environment. The project was managed entirely by students and participants gained invaluable real-world experience in practical engineering, project management and team work. The exhibition included three of the engineering student cars, with the latest electric model creating significant interest. The Car Show was presented in partnership with the University of Tasmania Collections Project and School of Engineering and ICT.
