Library Special & Rare Collections
The Library Special & Rare Collections manages and provides access to the cultural and historical records of the University. The collections include: private papers and records from individuals; families; local businesses, community, charitable and cultural organisations; and The Royal Society of Tasmania Collection.
Our Special & Rare Collections consist of: rare books, early manuscripts; journals; maps; university records of a non-business nature; and private materials including diaries, letters, photographs, paintings and other collectable ephemera.
We are open Monday to Wednesday from 9.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4.30pm (closed 12.30pm to 1pm). Please contact us to make an appointment.
